OFA – an Association of Horticulture Professionals announced at its July 10 meeting during the OFA Short Course the election of its president and vice president, as well as the election of new board members.

 

Danny Takao of Takao Nursery, Fresno, California, was re-elected as president of OFA.

Mike McCabe of McCabe’s Greenhouse & Floral, Lawrenceburg, Indiana, was re-elected as vice president.

 

The new directors elected to the Board are:

Lisa Campbell of Danville Gardens, Danville, Illinois, was elected to the Garden Center director position.

Dave Dickman of Dickman Farms, Auburn, New York, was elected to a Grower director position.

Bob Jones, Jr of The Chef’s Garden, Huron, Ohio was elected to a Grower director position.
Jason Twaddell of Timbuk II Plant Company, Granville, Ohio, was elected to a Grower director position.

Greg Orofino of Florafino’s Flower Market, Zanesville, Ohio, was elected to the Florist director position.

Lisa Graf of Graf Grower, Akron, Ohio, was elected to the treasurer position.

 

In other appointments:

Bobby Barnitz, Bob’s Market & Greenhouse, Mason, West Virginia, was appointed as the past president.

Terri Cantwell, Bates Sons & Daughters Inc, Lake Placid, Ohio, was appointed as the board liaison to the executive committee.
